Hans Hansson

TSS Leader

From 2022 to 2026

Hans Hansson has been a professor of Real-Time Systems at Mälardalen University since 1997, where he served as director of the Mälardalen Real-Time Research Centre (MRTC) and leader of the strategic profile area Trusted Smart Systems (TSS). He received an MSc (Engineering Physics), a Licentiate degree (Computer Systems), a BA (Business Administration), and a Doctor of Technology degree (Computer Systems) from Uppsala University (UU), Sweden, in 1981, 1984, 1984 and 1992, respectively.

Krister Landernäs

TSS Process Leader

From 2024 to 2026

Krister Landernäs is a senior expert in industrial networks and automation with more than 15 years of industry experience, including at ABB Corporate Research. His technical work has focused on industrial wireless communication technologies, particularly wireless sensor networks and protocols such as WirelessHART. In 2024, he joined Mälardalen University as Process Lead within the Trusted Smart Systems (TSS) strategic profile area, where he worked to strengthen the connection between academic research and industrial practice.
