SCOSSA

Sector Coupling in Energy Transitions as Sociotechnical Processes

SCOSSA is an interdisciplinary project that is a complement to the ELOGE project and brings together partners from the public and private sectors.

The project evaluates sector coupling and what it means to introduce a higher level of complexity and uncertainty in the design, planning, control and management of integrated infrastructures. For these reasons, a more holistic socio-technical (SC) approach is needed, combining technical knowledge with multiple levels of governance and the ability to think across organisational boundaries.

A goal is to provide stakeholders with a conceptual and practical framework for acting on SC challenges.
