IMRES

Innovation Management for Resilient Energy Systems, Orchestration of Ecosystems and Ecosystem Dynamics

The IMRES project applies theories and tools in innovation management to explore future energy scenarios and anticipate new threats to energy security, with the goal of building resilience through future scouting.

The project takes a multi-level perspective and explores the European context, national energy scenarios and long-term energy plans at the municipal level. Starting from a socio-technical perspective, the project examines development in a range of areas including policies, the environment, technological developments, socio-cultural aspects and the economic dimensions within these levels.

The studies are carried out in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders in a wider circle of the energy sector.

By using methods such as business intelligence, scenario planning and analysis of emerging issues, the project highlights potential future threats and opportunities and steers the development towards more sustainable, fair and resilient futures in the energy sector.
