ELOGE

Regional Scenario Analysis of Electrified Logistics and Production Sites in Energy Positive or Self-balancing Cities

In the ELOGE project, the goal is to use scenario analyses to increase knowledge about the framework for possible measures for different stakeholders, to contribute to a resilient energy system.

The project investigates how the resilience of a system can be evaluated and proposals have been made for an evaluation matrix and criteria that take into account more aspects than the purely technical ones. Specific studies are being conducted to evaluate the current situation regarding the energy transition and the impact of current regulations and development plans. Case studies will contribute to increasing knowledge about possible development paths for electrification of transport, logistics and production sites.

The transition to fossil-free transport and its energy infrastructure is important for the development of resilient energy systems at the regional level.
The capacity for electric power and fluctuations in electricity prices can be both challenging but also create new opportunities and needs for a changed in behavior and optimization of processes and measures. At the same time, existing and future regulations and plans, both at municipal and regional level, provide the framework for measures can be taken and when.
