Energy Districts in a Systems Perspective

In the EDISP project, a critical review and a system-conscious analysis of the transition from the use of fossil fuels to renewable energy systems will be carried out. The analyses also include the effects of increased resource-efficient energy use.

One of the goals of the project is to increase the understanding of an individual property owner's perspective, but also of a larger area such as city districts.

To develop city districts, the district must be able to interact with the rest of the city in a cost-effective and environmentally efficient way. Trying to understand how this can be achieved is an important part of the research project.
