Building Opportunities and Infrastructure for Ancillary Services

The BIAS project is carried out in collaboration with energy companies that conduct business development in the energy field. The companies have access to various forms of energy storage and have also developed collaboration with aggregators towards the support services market.

Initially, the possibility of increased production flexibility for the delivery of support services from a district heating system with combined heat and power is investigated.

The project results aim to be widely used by different actors in the energy sector. The collaboration with energy companies enables hard-to-access data on infrastructure to be used in research.
