- The Technology Lab@MITC resources
Scope
This use-case centres on an established technology centre equipped with cutting-edge hard-ware and software from industry leaders like Festo, ABB, and UR, including a cyber-physical production system and advanced automation solutions such asrobots and AGV. This collaborative venture involves MDU, MITC, and various industrial partners. We aim to harness and customise next-generation tech nologies in the technology centre, fostering a resilient production environment. Our focus includes, for example, addressing challenges related to integrating digital technologies, remote integration, portable solutions, and security. Within this use case, we possess the capability to tackle identified challenges by developing new solutions or adapting existing ones. Our methodology involves implementing a proof-of-concept utilising the devised solutions and validating the proposed measures

MITC is an inclusive environment that builds on collaboration between the manufacturing industry and academia (mainly Mälardalen University), where people and technology meet to research and implement new knowledge, processes and innovations.
