Use Cases
Close-to-real use cases are a key feature of MARC and a means for both the integration of results from different MARC projects as well as a tool for dissemination. The aim is to, together with the industry partners, identify generic application areas and use cases relevant to the industry in general, not only to a single end-user. Initially, we have a set of five complementing use cases in MARC. These use cases can be disseminated to a broad audience and made relevant to the Swedish industry at large. The profile will work as a coordinator of the use cases available at the university and the collaboration platforms that will be used to facilitate the test and demonstrations of new technologies and new applications in a close-to-real production/automation setting.
Given the overall objective of MARC, we have developed a set of Use Cases (UCs) together with all partners. These use cases help define research challenges and projects. They are also very useful for implementing and testing research results. From an educational perspective, they provide a natural bridge between our students, courses, and programs and the research conducted with our collaboration partners.
