MARC Team Visited WARA Lab

MARC director Thomas Nolte and research area 2 robotics and control leader Alessandro Papadopoulos visited WARA Lab at ABB corporate research recently.

WARA Robotics is one of the arenas of the WASP programme. The Wallenberg Artificial Intelligence, Autonomous Systems, and Software Program (WASP) is a major national initiative for strategically motivated basic research, education, and faculty recruitment in artificial intelligence, autonomous systems and software development.

WARA Robotics is designed to support research related to common industrial tasks: kitting, assembly and laboratory automation.The vision and research topics are highly overlapping with MARC Research Area 2. The MARC team has discussed with WARA Lab how we can collaborate and integrate their lab in research and education in automation and robotics.
