The inauguration of the MARC research center at MDU's Västerås campus was opened with a toast from the center's director, Thomas Nolte External link..

He outlined the foundation of the center, which builds on previous collaborative projects at MDU and meets the growing innovation needs of the Finnslätten hub. MARC aims to become Sweden's leading research center for automation and digitalization and to advance both research and education at various levels.
