Steering Committee

The Steering Committee (SC) is responsible for the daily operation and management of MARC. SC meets every second week. SC nine (9) members.

  • The director (Profile Leader) is responsible for vision alignment, industry co-production/ relations, centre devel­opment/funding, and university alignment/integration.
  • The vice-director (Scientific Leader) has overall responsibility for (excellence and volume of) scientific production and progression (and guiding area leaders in direction) in the whole profile.
  • Area Leaders (RA1, RA2, and RA3) are responsible for developing their corresponding RA, aiming to engage in challenges with potential scientific excellence. The area leaders are also responsible for project leadership (can be delegated) of the area's project(s). Each area hosts 2-3 projects at the centre start, and more projects are to be defined along the years of the profile.
  • The Use-Case Leader has the overall responsibility for coordinating and stimulating active use of industrial use­ cases in MARC research, e.g., maintaining, updating, and evolving use cases.
  • The Administrative Officer has overall admin responsibility and is responsible for coordination, detailed planning, and execution of all profile-common events and activities.
  • The Communication and Dissemination Officer is responsible for communicating and disseminating centre results and activities.
  • Researchers (Sr. Lecturers, Assoc. Sr. Lecturers, postdocs, and researchers) with primary responsibility to conduct research, establish new research projects, and engage in PhD education (e.g., supervision).
  • Students (postgraduate, graduate and undergraduate students) with primary responsibility to conduct research, undergo PhD education, participate in project courses, and complete theses projects.
