Project Description

GeoCoHorT aims to advance 4th generation district heating and cooling by integrating shallow geothermal heat with other renewable sources and smart buildings.
Focuses on a micro-district in Limerick, Ireland, using ground water from the River Shannon for improved efficiency and noise reduction.
Develops a tool for communities and planners to optimize district heating systems, assessing costs and environmental impact.
