Dino Mustefa is a Researcher at ALTEN Sweden. He received his M.Sc. in Systems Control and Robotics at KTH in 2013 as well as his M.Sc. in Signal Processing at Linnaeus University. Dino has been working in different industries (ABB Robotics, Datapath International AB, Stoneridge Electronics) as an embedded software developer up until the end of 2018.

About Dino's thesis

This research aims to investigate safe and secure communications (e.g. 5G technology in enabling critical application domains such as Medical IoT. Design and development of safety strategies and security control mechanisms for remote health monitoring systems empowered by 5G technologies and interacting in heterogeneous IoT networks as well as for cooperative cyber-physical systems (CPS) is our focus. The research will analyze and re-evaluate the state of the art that ALTEN is currently deploying in an ongoing project for cooperative cyber-physical systems. We will be linking application-level safety requirements with safe and secure strategies for multiple networking paradigms like SDN,5G and TSN.
