Ulf Håkansson

Tekn Dr. Ulf Håkansson is the Technical Manager at Skanska, one of the world's largest construction contractors, headquartered in Stockholm.

He has previously been responsible for R&D at Skanska’s corporate HQ and Adjunct Professor at KTH.

Ulf has more than 25 years of international experience in civil engineering, having worked in university research, as a designer, as a contractor and also as technical support to a major machine supplier. Much of the work has been international and related to geotechnics and tunnelling.

He is currently involved in various R&D activities within Skanska's global operations, focusing on automated construction, digitalization and AI, and geotechnical and underground works.
